Dear Worcester College, Oxford,

Please reply with a copy of your Royal Charter and of all bylaws passed under your statutes.

Yours faithfully,

Dear Dominik

Thank you for your email.

The Royal Charter is stored in the College Archives, its reference is as follows:

'WOR/GOV 1/1 Letters Patent of Queen Anne granting the incorporation of Worcester College and establishing the College Statutes. 29 July 1714 In Latin.
1 item

This document has also been known as ‘The College Charter’ since c1714'

This document is rolled up and for conservation reasons is not something we would want to unroll except under exceptional circumstances., but an image was taken a couple of years ago which I attach.

The statutes are available on our website here: http://www.worc.ox.ac.uk/file/college-st...

All the best
Rhian

Dear Rhian ,

Thank you for getting replying so fast but

there was no attachment
you must have a working copy of the text of the royal charter? Like Leeds do https://www.leeds.ac.uk/secretariat/char... and St. Peter's do http://www.spc.ox.ac.uk/sites/www.spc.ox..., it is your governing document after all
what about the byelaws?

Yours sincerely,

Dominik Schade

Dear Dominik

Thanks for your email. It appears that the attachment is too big to email; if you can let me know a postal address to send a hard copy to I can do that asap.

I have double-checked with the Finance and Estates Bursar and we do not have a working copy in the way that Leeds and St Peter's have - the document that we refer to in order to run the College is the Statutes. We do not have any by byelaws so it's a nil return on that front.

Do let me know if you have any further questions.
All the best
Rhian
