Dear Connor,

Further to my previous correspondence, can I please ask for some additional clarification surrounding your request.

I can confirm that the LFB is unlikely to hold information regarding the autopsy of Mr Litvinenko and so ask if you are instead interested in information surrounding our response to the incident?

If you can please confirm this for me at your earliest convenience so I am able to continue processing your request.

Please note, until such a time I receive this clarification I will be suspending your request.

I look forward to your response.

Kind Regards,

James Sivell

James,

Thank you for your swift response. As you may well be aware, Alexander Litvinenko was a former officer of the Russian FSB and was living under an assumed identity. I am aware that this was the name initially used at the hospital.

As such, I would ask that you expand your search for any incident logs to a Mr Edwin Carter if you have not already done so. If you have, I thank you again for your prompt response.

Yours faithfully,
Connor A. Gurney

Connor,

Thank you for the additional detail. I will conduct some additional searches.

Please note, I have logged this as a follow up request in order that it is dealt with efficiently and will aim to have a response with you as soon as possible.

Kind Regards,

James
