and the section headed "Do you need a TV Licence to watch shows on BBC iPlayer?" which contains the following:
"If you are using the BBC iPlayer to watch programmes on-demand i.e. after they have been shown, you do not need a TV Licence."
You can even access iPlayer on your computer and hook it up to a TV. Watching catch-up (not just iPlayer but ITVPlayer, 4oD and the rest) saves you £145.50 every year. Spend it on something more useful than a TV licence.
