Please see below the response to your enquiry under the Freedom of
Information Act (FOIA). Please accept the councils apologies for the
delay.

Request:

• can you provide a list of  positions/ Cttee and board representatives
that would require advanced DBS checks. Can you confirm when such
checks would be required ahead if any committee appointments etc?

Response:

Currently there are no requirements for CYC elected members to undergo DBS
checks.

The contents of the letter referred to are under discussion, and no formal
decision has yet been made in connection with the advice contained
therein.
