Dear Aneurin Bevan University Health Board,
I want to know why the status of the patient Brian Boulton was changed from For resuscitation on 18th September to DNAR on 20th September without consultation to the patient or any family member or next of kin and indeed states " Patient confused ...has no next of kin where it was also mentioned in the notes that the patient has next of kin and family and was talking to them .Patient was NOT confused and was fully compos mentis. This is contrary to UK law as defined by Tracey v Cambridge University health Boards 2014
