Dear Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation's handling of my FOI request 'DN ref. IC-70514-H7K5 - disclosure related to the 'algorithm' and A-level adjustments'.

Your response includes your refusal notice relating to the information the Commissioner has ordered you to disclose; not the information she has ordered you to disclose. From the DN:

'2. The Commissioner’s decision is that Ofqual has properly engaged section 36(2)(c) (prejudice to the effective conduct of public affairs) of the FOIA BUT THAT THE PUBLIC INTEREST LIES IN DISCLOSURE, rather than maintaining the exemption. (emphasis added)

3. The Commissioner requires the public authority to take the following steps to ensure compliance with the legislation.'

• Disclose the requested information.'

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/d...

Yours faithfully,

J Roberts

Dear Mr Roberts

Please accept my apologies for not providing an update sooner regarding your FOI internal review. All internal reviews were deprioritised to allocate resources to completing Summer 2021 Exam Procedural Review Service applications.

The decision maker for this case has now finalised their decision, therefore, please find attached the final decision from the independent decision maker, Matthew Humphrey, Director of Legal Moderation and Enforcement.

I would like to sincerely apologise for the delay in getting this final response to you and thank you for your patience during this process.
