The request was successful.

Dear The Law Society

My name is Gary Steel and I am a LLM LPC student at Nottingham Law School. I am also the sole male awardee of the Diversity Accesss Scheme 2016.

I am contacting you today to seek some information which will help me in the writing of my dissertation for my LLM. The topic of my project is the Equaility Act 2010 and the Legal Profession. I plan to critically evaluate whether the 2010 act has impacted on gender and ethnic diversity within the legal profession, including the Bar and the Judiciary. I plan to complare the English and Welsh legal profession with that of France.

To this end, can you please provide me with any material you hold in relation to how the diversity in the English and Welsh profession compares with the French profession?

I hope you can help

Yours faithfully

Gary Steel
