Diversion from Prosecution
Dear Disclosure Scotland,
My request relates to information which is contained on a Standard Disclosure, Scotland. Several years ago, following a minor first offence, rather than pursuing prosecution, I was diverted from prosecution through a social work scheme. I understand that accepting this alternative to prosecution was, indeed, an admission of guilt.
I am currently approaching the end of my University degree and I am thus required to obtain a Standard Disclosure as I am going to be employed in a regulated profession. Can you please advise me as to whether information relating to said incident would appear on a Standard Disclosure that is needed for professions such as accountancy/law/pharmacy.
In addition, can you please advise me as to whether a formal police warning would be visible on a Standard Disclosure?
Yours faithfully,
Mrs K.
