Dear Transport for London,

As the scanning would fall within the costs limit I would remind you that the act allows any format accessable. The writer is of the opinion that 1-2 hours maximum is required for this task. 2 days would have to be exceeded for the costs to be exceeded.

Yours faithfully,

Paul Strudwick

Dear Mr Strudwick

Thank you for your email regarding your Freedom of Information request.

In terms of complying with your request for the provision of this
information in electronic form, section 11(1) of the Freedom of
Information Act states:

Where, on making his request for information, the applicant expresses a
preference for communication by any one or more of the following means,
namely—

(a) the provision to the applicant of a copy of the information in
permanent form or another form acceptable to the applicant,

(b) the provision to the applicant of a reasonable opportunity to inspect
a record containing the information, and

(c) the provision to the applicant of a digest or summary of the
information in permanent form or in another form acceptable to the
applicant,

the authority shall so far as is reasonably practicable give effect to
that preference.

Guidance from the Information Commissioner’s Office states that the
applicant must specify their preferred method of communication when they
make the FOI request. LU has considered whether these timetables can be
provided to you electronically and has concluded that due to the time it
would take to scan all these records it is not reasonably practicable to
do so.

As we have stated previously, if you provide us with a postal address we
are willing to provide this information in hard copy form.

Please contact me again if you need any help in the future.

Yours sincerely

Dear Transport for London,

I have already provided my personel address by your website, which you have failed to acknowledge. I had sent several requests this way without any response, hence why I used What do they know. com. Do I take this as a refusal to supply this information?
