Dear Mr Dunn,
I am aware of examples where the Council have accepted the payment of money in lieu of on site affordable housing provision in relation to consent for residential development. Such a payment is commonly known as a commuted sum or payment. I refer you to the Council's own policy guidance. https://www.southlanarkshire.gov.uk/.../...
My request is to confirm what level of commuted payments were requested by and agreed with developers in respect of residential developments in the area.
I trust this provides sufficient clarification in order that you can now respond to my FOI request.
regards
Graeme Patrick
Yours sincerely,
Graeme Patrick
