District Judge Daniel Curtis (Accountability)

The request was partially successful.

Dear Ministry of Justice,

District Judge Daniel Curtis was complained about to the Judicial Conduct Investigations Office ( http://tinyurl.com/psp22hm ) and the matter of complaint reported as a crime to the police.

Predictably, the police avoided investigating and in a letter (see link below) stated:

https://www.scribd.com/doc/310668727/Exh...

"Humberside Police do not investigate allegations of perjury unless a request to do so comes from the court themselves."

Predictably again, the Judicial Conduct Investigations Office considered the complaint did not meet the criterion to be valid, and in a letter (see link below) stated:

https://www.scribd.com/doc/291332937/Jud...

"With further reference to your allegation that DJ Curtis has perverted the course of justice, the JCIO does not have remit to consider criminal allegations. In the event that a judicial office holder was to be found guilty of committing a criminal offence, the matter may be referred to the JCIO for further consideration."

Clearly the inability for a person to get proper justice with such opposition means judges are unable to be held to account – or – is it that the above statements are lies?

Q. Any information held by the MoJ to clarify the matter is my request in this submission.

Yours faithfully,

fFaudwAtch UK

Dear Ministry of Justice,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Ministry of Justice's handling of my FOI request 'District Judge Daniel Curtis (Accountability)'.

There were many allegations of misconduct detailed in the complaint about District Judge Daniel Curtis and so your response is inappropriate and requires reviewing.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/d...
