District Charger Network Project
Dear Kent County Council,
At the following page of the Kent County Council website - https://www.kent.gov.uk/roads-and-travel... - under 'District charger network project', reference is made to a project concerning the installation of Electric Vehicle Charging Points (EVCP) across district-owned car parks. There does not appear to be any further information about this project available on the main KCC website or on its Democracy subsite. There is also no further information on this project on the Tonbridge & Malling Borough Council website, the locality in which I am interested.
Therefore, I am requesting the following information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000:
1. What is the current status of the project in the Tonbridge & Malling Borough Council (TMBC) area?
2. Which locations within the TMBC area (e.g. district-owned car parks) are being considered/ have been selected for the installation of charging points?
3. Is any consideration being made towards the installation of charging points in residential on-street parking areas, and if so, in which areas?
4. For any locations listed in response to questions 3 and 4, what is the approximate timescale for the installation of the charging points?
Many thanks,
Mr B Holmes
