Disputes with commissioners over EHCP funding

JoS made this Freedom of Information request to Creative Education Trust as part of a batch sent to 135 authorities Automatic anti-spam measures are in place for this older request. Please let us know if a further response is expected or if you are having trouble responding.

We're waiting for JoS to read a recent response and update the status.

Dear Creative Education Trust,

Can you provide the number of challenges you have made to Local Authority Commissioners around the funding provide with EHCP in this academic year. Can you categorise these as follows:

1. Rejected i.e. no additional funding provided for the EHCP (by LA)
2. Successful i.e. additional funding provided for the EHCP (by LA)
3. In progress (by LA)

Of the successful applications, can you detail whether any of these involved your taking legal advice, up to and including the use of Judicial Review.

Can you also provide details of the process you undertake to EHCP funding matches Section F of the EHCP as related to the SEND Code of Practice and, ultimately, the Children and Families Act 2014.
