Displayed Logos
Dear British Broadcasting Corporation,
As the bbc cannot partake in offical product placement.
Can you please let me know what the official rules and procedures are for logos being shown in bbc programming.
It can be hard to cover logos used in equipment or clothing, I would like to know what the rules are for this within the corporation, as in some bbc programming you see clothing logos covered by tape, then in others logos are clearly on display on clothing or equipment.
Yours faithfully,
Jon Carner

Dear British Broadcasting Corporation,
Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.
I am writing to request an internal review of British Broadcasting Corporation's handling of my FOI request 'Displayed Logos'.
this response is unacceptable, I am requesting details of bbc procedures, so this get out clause does not cover it.
This needs reviewing, and your prejudice against me needs putting aside when I file requests
A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/d...
Yours faithfully,
Jon Carner
Dear Jon Carner,
Thank you for your email.
The BBC does not offer an internal review when the information requested is not covered by the Act. If you disagree with our decision you can appeal to the Information Commissioner. Contact details are: Information Commissioner's Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF, tel: 0303 123 1113 or see http://www.ico.org.uk
Please note that should the Information Commissioner’s Office decide that the Act does cover this information, exemptions under the Act might then apply.
