Discussions of and reasons for changes to your website and staff
Dear Ark Greenwich Free School, London,
On 22nd January 2024, your website at https://arkgreenwichfreeschool.org/about... (henceforth the "Governance webpage") listed Newton Leng as a "Staff Governor" (archived here: https://archive.is/3rQIk#selection-1757.... by 26th January he was no longer listed on that page.
Similarly, in October 2023, Mr. Leng was mentioned as a "curriculum leader" of Modern Foreign Languages (archived here: https://archive.is/0K4ye). By November 2023 he is not mentioned on the staff page at all.
Please supply the following information where you hold such:
1a) Was Mr. Newton Leng a governor of your school on 22nd January? If not, what is the period for which he was a governor, and why was his term terminated?
1b) Was Mr. Newton Leng a teacher at your school on in October 2023 or before? What is the period for which he was a teacher, and why was his term terminated?
2) Copies of internal correspondence relating to updating/changing your Governance webpage between 22nd and 26th January.

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews (which I believe to be the Director of Governance at Ark Schools).
I am writing to request an internal review of the Ark Greenwich Free School, London's handling of my FOI request.
While I appreciate the information I was given, I must protest that not all the information was.
With regards to Mr. Leng's tenure at your school (my second question), you posted on your website that he was a teacher. At the very least, as a public-facing employee, you must disclose when he worked at your school and in what capacity (e.g. head of department).
With regards to the internal correspondence relating to updating your Governance webpage (my third question), you have hidden all names without citing an exemption. The names of the individuals cannot be considered undisclosable personal data by themselves, especially if the employee is a senior member of staff or a governor of the school, where the public has a legitimate interest in knowing their decisions.
