Disclosure of Hospitality Register & Expenses

We're waiting for Dr Colin Iain Campbell MBChB FRSPH to read recent responses and update the status.

Dr Colin Iain Campbell MBChB FRSPH

Dear HM Revenue and Customs,

I am writing to request information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. I would be interested in any information held by your organisation regarding my request. I understand that I do not have to specify particular files or documents and it is the departments responsibility to provide the information I require. If you need further clarification please contact me via this website (or email). I would like to request the following information:

1. Could the Hospitality & Gifts register for Mark Frampton, HMRC's IR35 lead please be disclosed.
2. Could Mark Frampton's expenses please be disclosed.

I would like the information to be provided by email or on this website in electronic form. If my request is denied in whole or in part I ask that you justify all deletions by reference to specific exemptions of the act. I will also expect you to release all non-exempt material. I reserve the right to appeal your decision to withhold any information or to charge excessive fees. I would be grateful if you could confirm in writing that you have received this request. I look forward to your response within 20 working days as outlined by the statute. Many thanks for your assistance with this request.

Yours faithfully,
Dr Colin Iain Campbell MBChB FRSPH

Dear Dr Campbell,

Freedom of Information Act 2000 Acknowledgement

Thank you for your communication of which has been passed to HMRC's
Freedom of Information Team.

We have allocated the above reference which you should quote if you need
to contact us.

The Team will arrange for a reply to be sent to you which will either
comply with HMRC's obligations under Freedom of Information Act or, if we
think it's an enquiry that we don't need to address under the terms of the
Act, let you know why. If it is the latter we will, if possible, pass it
on to a more appropriate part of the Department for answer.

Yours sincerely

HMRC Freedom of Information Act Team

Dear HM Revenue and Customs,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of HM Revenue and Customs's handling of my FOI request 'Disclosure of Hospitality Register & Expenses'.

This is not in keeping with the Civil Service Code. Mark Frampton is a senior civil servant and disclosure of such information is a requirement in maintaining public confidence in the integrity, honesty, objectivity, and impartiality of civil servants. It is a vital safeguard against bribery, corruption, embezzlement, undue influence, and impartiality of the conduct of office of public servants. Public accessibility of such information is important in maintaining standards in public life and such information should be disclosed upon request.

Please conduct an internal review and disclose the information sought.

-------Further Freedom of Information Act Request-----
Under FOIA 2000 please disclose promptly, and within 20 days:
1) Mark Frampton's Conflicts of Interest register.

I look forward to your response within 20 days.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/d...

Yours faithfully,

Dr Colin Iain Campbell MBChB FRSPH

Dear [email address] on behalf of FOI Central Team,

I should say that, for the avoidance of doubt, I am not alleging these things have occurred at this juncture. Merely, that disclosing such documents is a safeguard against them and, if there is nothing untoward on such records, would assuage any potential concerns with respect to such things.

Yours sincerely,

Dr Colin Iain Campbell MBChB FRSPH

Dear [email address] on behalf of FOI Team,

I note that you have failed to respond promptly to the Internal Review request on the original FOI and failed to acknowledge or respond promptly and within 20 days to the second follow up FOI.

This is a formal internal review request on the grounds of failure to acknowledge, respond, and to respond promptly, with respect to the second Freedom of Information Act 2000 request.

The initial internal review for the original FOI remains outstanding and will be escalated to the information commissioner should you not respond today, this will unfortunately not be the first time I have had to refer HMRC to the Information Commissioner recently.

I would remind you of your statutory duties under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and urge you to respond to prevent unnecessary work for the commissioner.

Yours sincerely,

Dr Colin Iain Campbell MBChB FRSPH

I’m unable to assist you further.
