Disclosure and Barring Service checks

We're waiting for Anna Kirsten to read recent responses and update the status.

Dear Lancaster City Council,

Would it be possible for you to provide me with the following information:

The total number of staff that are employed by LCC, as well as the total number of staff who are eligible to have a Disclosure and Barring Service criminal record check.

Of this total number of staff who are eligible to have a DBS check, how many were subject to:

1. An enhanced DBS check
2. A standard DBS check
3. A basic DBS check.

Total number of staff = 775.

60 roles require a DBS check, however please be aware that this changes
due to us reviewing our Job Descriptions and annual checks.
