Dear Mr Bavister,

Thank you for your reply.

As you will have seen from my request, I would like the materials provided to me in an electronic format, and section 11 of the Freedom of Information Act requires you to respect this preference if it is "reasonably practicable" for you to do so (ie. if there is a scanner somewhere in the Palace of Westminster).

Therefore, please could you either provide the materials electronically as I requested, or state why it is completely impractical for you to do so, in which case I will provide a postal address.

I note that the deadline for your response is, in any case, 28 December.

Bavister, Grant, Ministry of Justice

Dear Mr Elibank,

Thank you for your reply. I am afraid we are only tenants of the Palace of Westminster, occupying rooms here for the convenience of the Clerk of the Crown's Parliamentary responsibilities and we presently have no scanner, nor access to one; am I afraid therefore, to enable us to comply with you request, I can only place the documents in the post.

With best wishes,

Grant A. Bavister
