Request under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002
I refer to your correspondence dated 8th November 2022 requesting
information in relation to disciplinary/police reports by schools against
pupils/parents re Anti Trans Gender Education.
The Council is treating your request as a request under the Freedom of
Information (Scotland) Act 2002 and can respond as follows:
1 a)
We interpret ‘officially disciplined’ as referring to temporary
exclusions. While there have been exclusions this academic year, a check
of systems for exclusions using the term “alleged discriminatory or
homophobic behaviour or views against trans gender education” have
returned a nil result. This system logs any exclusions from 18 ^ August
2022.
b)
As you are looking for a collated figure of reports made to the police for
alleged discrimination or homophobic behaviour or views, I hereby give you
notice in terms of Section 17 of the Freedom of (Information) Scotland Act
2002, that this information is not held. We do not centrally records this
information.

As you are looking for a collated figure of the number of
parents/guardians that have been officially reported (to the Police) by
the school for their child/pupils alleged discriminatory or homophobic
behaviour or views against trans gender EDUCATION, I hereby give you
notice in terms of Section 17 of the Freedom of (Information) Scotland Act
2002, that this information is not held. We do not centrally record this
information.
