Disabled transport concessions for ancestry visa holder

The request was successful.

Dear Department for Transport,

I am turning 60 this year.

I have been diagnosed with Parkinson’s.

I arrived in the UK on an Ancestry Visa in 2016, and am the holder of a Biometric Residence Permit. On the BRP card it says “NO PUBLIC FUNDS”.

I wanted to find out if I would be eligible for disability bus and train concessions?

I work part-time and pay tax.

Thank you for your consideration.

Yours faithfully,

AN Davidoff
