Dear Mr Hardy

I write further to previous correspondence with a response under the
Freedom of Information Act 2000.

We don’t hold the data you have requested. We do collect disability data
on an opt in basis but not that would allow us to answer the question.

We give registrants a number of categories of disability they can identify
as having, such as having problems with mobility. However this is broader
than people who need a wheelchair to mobilise.

If you have any further requests we would be happy to consider them. We
could provide the data on an all UK basis or for the four nations of
England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

I hope this information is helpful. If you have any comments on how I have
handled your request please email [1][GMC request email].

Kind Regards

Matt
