I am looking into the impact of COVID on the delivery of Disabled Facilities Grants by local authorities.

Could you please provide the following information:

1. Financial - what was your carry forward at the end of 2019/20.
2. Financial - What was the budget in 2020/21 excluding carry forward
3. Financial - What have you spent to date (please specify up to what period).
4. How many adaptations have been completed in 2019/20
5. How many adaptations on average have been completed over the last 5 years to the end of 2019/20.
6. How many adaptations have been completed in 2020/21 (please specify up to what period).
7. What benchmarking do you carry out.

DFG Programme is managed by a partnership of 6 Staffordshire Authorities
which meet monthly with the service provider.

8. During 2018/19, how long (in days) on average did it take from request
to completion of adaptation?

The service area sets a completion performance indicator of 12 weeks
(60 working days).

9. During 2019/20, how long (in days) on average did it take from request
to completion of adaptation?

The service area sets a completion performance indicator of 12 weeks (60
working days).

10. During 2020/21 (up to date), how long (in days) on average has it
taken from request to completion of adaption?

Due to covid restrictions, particularly during the lockdown periods,
delays were experienced across the range of adaptations, resulting in an
increase of the average completion to 20 weeks (100 working days).

Under the Re-Use of Public Sector Information Regulations 2015, you are
free to use any of the information that you have been provided with by the
Council in response to this request.  The information may be re-used
subject to the terms of the [1]Open Government Licence.

If you are dissatisfied with the response given to your request, you are

However you do not appear to have answered question 3, how much you have spent in 20/21 and to what period.

Also as a point of clarification, you state 'The service area sets a completion performance indicator of 12 weeks'. do you achieve it? if not what is the actual length of time.
