Disability Discrimination Act
Dear Her Majesty’s Courts and the Tribunals Service,
I would very much appreciate if you could give me the number of claims which have been made in the year 2013 under the Disability Discrimination Act of 1995, the Equalities Act of 2010 and the DDO of 2006 in the UK.
From this number i would also like to know how many have been successful in winning the judgement.
I don't think that disabled people are given enough of a voice to have their cases heard and this has to change with the courts giving a fairer view on its rulings taking into account the stress and mental health of the individual whose case has been heard.
A Company/Organisation/Employer will invariable have greater financial resources to fight any action made by an individual to bring about change or a case for discrimination and this HAS to be noted by ALL judges when a case is brought before them.
Yours faithfully,
Mike Brodie
