Following receipt of your request, searches were conducted to locate
information relevant to your request and I can confirm that the
information you have requested is held by Sandwell and West Birmingham
Hospitals NHS Trust and is detailed below:

 

1.       What is your agency spend on Medical Locums/AHP’s financial year
2017/2018?

£9,664,241 for all medical locums.

 

2.       Do you have a Direct Engagement arrangement for Medical Locums/
AHPs? If so who is your current provider?

Yes the current provider is called TempRE.

 

3.       When does the contract with your current provider expire?

Dates 1st November 2016 to 31st October 2020 including allowed extensions.

 

4.       What is the cost of this service and it charged per hour or %
fee?

The Trust has taken the decision to withhold the information relating to
this question as it contains specific details about our contractual
arrangements with the provider. This information is commercially sensitive
and is therefore exempt from disclosure under section 43(2) of the Freedom
of Information Act 2000. Releasing this information is likely to prejudice
the commercial interests of the Trust and the provider.
