Dear James,
The University of Sunderland has no involvement in the running of the
Difference Engine programme and has not incurred travel expenditure,
subsistence, or marketing costs in relation to the programme.
The Difference Engine is about to employ a University of Sunderland
graduate as an intern. This costs £9,600 for 6 months, and the costs
are split between the Difference Engine and the University. The
University’s portion of the costs are met out of funds specifically
allocated to provide opportunities for recently qualified graduates in
this current economic climate.
If you are not satisfied with the handling of your request you can make a
complaint to the Deputy Vice Chancellor for Resources and Corporate
Services at the University of Sunderland, 4th Floor Edinburgh Building,
City Campus, Chester Road, Sunderland, SR1 3SD which will be investigated
within 20 working days. Should you not be content with this internal
review, then you have the right to apply directly to the Information
Commissioner for a decision at The Information Commissioner's Office,
Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF.
