Dear Andrew Wright

Thank you for your enquiry of 19 November concerning A14 Slip Road Diesel
Spillage. The information you have requested is information we make
available to the public on a regular basis.

Your request has been handled under normal business practices and not in
accordance with the Freedom of Information Act/Environmental Information
Regulations.

•             when did it occur?

Police have the time of incident as 10:08 16/11/18

•             when was the first unit on scene?

               10:47

•             what was used to clean the spill?

Fuel safe, followed by Eski Granules to absorb oil

•             when did this start and finish?

               11:45 to 12:25

•             what was the cost – estimated cost if possible?

Incident cost would have been under £10,000

•             why was it not resurfaced?

The oil would not have had time to seep into the surface, Also a skid test
was performed by the police and they were happy with the test. We would
not resurface immediately unless there was clear degradation at that time.
Normally we will revisit and monitor the area for any degradation, if
resurfacing is required we would record it accordingly and add it to our
works program.

answered within the 15-day period, you may wish to complain. The
