The request is as follows,
Cllr Andrew Woods has been under investigation for alleged illegally voting whilst driving, the case was referred to the Ombudsman by a number of people and made local and national news.
Can you clarify the following?
Did Head Of Council Charles McCoubrey Write to Ombudsman in Defence Of Cllr Andrews Woods Driving Investigation allegations?
To clarify did The Head Of The Council in any way, either, by phone, email, or letter write a letter of defence to the Ombudsman for his friend Andrew Wood (Cllr)?
And also did any other council member or Councillor contact the Ombudsman in Cllr Woods defence?

In terms of the Leader of the Council, no, he has not contacted the
Ombudsman in relation to this matter. Neither are we aware of any other
Councillor contacting the Ombudsman in relation to this matter.
