Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I request Brighton & Hove UA local authority to provide me with the following information.
Mandatory Disabled Facilities Grants (DFGs) are available from local authorities in England, subject to a means test, for essential adaptations to give disabled people better access to essential facilities within the home. The legislation governing DFGs in England and Wales is the 1996 Housing Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act.
