Devon and Cornwall Police and Crime commissioner deputy salary

Daniel Powell made this Freedom of Information request to Devon and Cornwall Police and Crime Commissioner

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

The request was partially successful.

Dear Devon and Cornwall Police and Crime Commissioner,

In the following article it is stated;

"The embattled Devon and Cornwall Police and Crime commissioner Alison Hernandez is set to appoint a £50,000 deputy. The police chief, who earns £85,000 a year, would not say how much the deputy would be paid, but a source said it could be in the region of £50,000."

There doesn't seem to be a mention of the salary nor deputy in the spending & budget proposals for 2017-2018.

Please could you outlay the actual annual salary budgeted for the deputy to the D&C Police and Crime commissioner position.

Yours faithfully,

Daniel Powell
