Islington NHS Foundation Trust respond as below.

 

 

Please provide any and all Equality Impact Statements associated with this

Please confirm how any steering group was formed and from what background
were they recruited.

·         The Steering Group is led by the Interim Chief Operating Officer
– an Executive Board Member. All major C&I Projects have an Executive
level Senior Responsible Officer (SRO).

·         Other members include:

·         Director Community Acute Services – this is the senior manager
responsible for operational quality and safety of services in this area

·         Project Manager – required to provide coordination

·         Director of Estates – required to provide assurance around the
building work

·         Director of Finance – required to ensure the project operates
within budget

·         The Director Community Acute Services and Project Manager report
back from the Mobilisation Group which manages the detailed work of the
project plan

·         This Steering Group reports into the C&I Clinical Strategy
Programme Board led by the CEO

 

Please confirm if there will be separate female and male units

·         There will be 3 individual rooms within the suite which can be
used by male or female service users. There is no mixed area.

 

Please number how many MH patients with known physical and sensory
conditions were consulted.

·         None to date. We have used the experience of our senior
occupational therapists to advise on the design of the wheelchair
accessible room within the suite

 

Please confirm what outside disability organisations the Trust are
consulting

·         none to date.

 

Please confirm design plans showing the EXACT  environment provision for
physically and sensory disabled patients .

·         As the attached PDFs

can be used by male or female service users
