Dear Scottish Government,

Meetings have been held between the Cabinet Secretary for Social Justice, Housing and Local Government and five government-funded organisations in relation to GRA reform (Telegraph, 3.1.22). Since May 2021 the Minister has met with Equality Network, Scottish Trans Alliance, Stonewall Scotland, LGBT Youth Scotland and LGBT Health and Wellbeing to discuss the proposed GRA reform legislation.

Could you provide me with copies of all information including, but not limited to, correspondence and messages exchanged between the minister and representatives of the organisations, notes of telephone calls, emails relating to the co-ordination/setting up of these meetings (including multiple meetings with the same organisation, where applicable).

Specifically, can you provide me with relevant information regarding whether the meetings were held either as a result of :-
- a direct request by a representative of each of the 5 organisations to meet with the Minister to discuss the proposed GRA reform legislation, or
- a direct invite by the Minister to meet with representatives of each of the 5 organisations to discuss the proposed GRA reform legislation.

Yours faithfully,

M Kelly
