Details of IT purchases during financial year 2015/2016

The request was successful.

Dear North Tyneside Metropolitan Borough Council,

Please could you confirm the amount spent by your local authority on
desktop computers and laptops during financial year 2015/2016. Please
specify the make and model and specification of each new desktop computer
and laptop as well as the price paid for each unit and when it was
purchased by your authority. If you have purchased any large single volumes
of over 200 units at a time can you advise if a more cost effective
solution which would of saved the authority money was offered by any other
vendor and the reasons why they were not selected given the financial
obligations the local authority has to the state.

Yours faithfully,

Simon Freedom
