Details of HMOs and landlords
Dear Reading Borough Council,
Please can you provide me with the following information under the
Freedom Of Information Act :-
(a) addresses of all Registered Residential HMO properties that are
within your councils area; and
(b) the maximum number of occupants that each property
referred to in (a) is licensed to hold
(b) the last actual registered number of occupants that each
property referred to in (a) holds
(c) the date each of the properties in (a) was first registered as
HMO
(d) the names and contact details of the owners/licence holders of those properties
referred to in (a)
(e) the details of any lapsed licences that have not been renewed

Further to my acknowledgement letter to you dated 18^th June 2018. I have
now been able to start processing your request whilst doing so I have
noticed in the foot note of your email that you intend on publishing this
information on the “what do you know website”. In light of the recent
regulatory changes under GDPR and that the information we provide you
with, you cannot extract or re-utilise this information derived from the
Register and/or any copies of such information (whether electronic or in
hard copy format) for any commercial or business purpose including but not
limited to, trading, building commercial databases, reselling or
redistribution of such information. Should a third party use information
derived from the Register it would be in contravention of these terms and
conditions, and can be reported to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
In view of the this information and my requirement to respond to you, can

website where the information and it’s use cannot be controlled, can you
please supply a personal email address to me so that I may respond to you.
As you may or may not be aware, you cannot extract or re-utilise the
