Dear Ms Cosgrove
FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT 2000 - Details of Excluded Children - 11/697
Your request for information has now been considered. Please see the LA's
Exclusions are only collected at statutory school age, therefore this data
is not available at nursery level. The total numbers of permanent
exclusions at primary schools back to 2004 are published by the DfE and
are available at the links below. Unfortunately, as Bexley is a small
authority, the breakdowns by age group would involve numbers under 5 which
we would suppress for data protection purposes in line with DfE guidance,
therefore this information cannot be provided.
