Dear Sirs,

Further to your requests attached, I am pleased to attach our reply regarding Business Rates.

In accordance with the Data Protection Act and Information Commissioner guidance, details of properties owned by individuals (according to information we have on our records) have been redacted as they are exempt from disclosure under Section 40 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and if disclosed could be a breach of the Data Protection Act 1998.

Names of sole traders/individuals have also been removed as they are exempt from disclosure under Section 40 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and if disclosed could be a breach of the Data Protection Act 1998.

Should you wish to appeal this decision, please e-mail [Stevenage Borough Council request email] whereupon it will be reviewed by another officer not involved in this original decision. After our internal review you have a further right of appeal to the Information Commissioner, www.ico.gov.uk
