Dear Natalie,

I refer to your request made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 for
details of vacant commercial properties within the Sheffield billing
authority area, which has today been passed to me by the council's legal
team for a response.

Please find attached a spreadsheet which I hope is of use, identifying the
relevant vacant properties and the owner where this is not an individual.
I regret that it is not possible at this stage to attach the rateable
value to the properties without excessive manual intervention. The
facility to do so automatically is expected to become available in the
future but I have no prospective date when this may occur. Please do not
hesitate to contact me if you wish to discuss this matter further.

I would also like to convey the council's apologies for the delay in
responding to your request.

Kind regards,

John Hoyle
