Ms Davis,

Further to your request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, please
see the attached file. It contains the details of all empty commercial
properties which are not privately owned. The details of those which are
privately owned are exempted from release by Section 40 (2) of the above
Act and the First Data Protection Principle.

I apologise for the lateness of our reply. As I mentioned in my last
e-mail, it was necessary to check the legal position before replying.

If you have any queries about this reply, please contact me.

If you are unhappy with the service you have received in relation to your
request and wish to make a complaint or request a review of this decision,
you should also write to me in the first instance.

If you are not content with the outcome of your complaint, you may apply
directly to the Information Commissioner for a decision. Generally, the
ICO cannot make a decision unless you have exhausted the complaints
procedure provided by Monmouthshire County Council.
