Dear Mr McBeath,

Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002

We refer to the above and to your following request.

Registration date
Manager Name
Whether intending to cancel
Date of most recent inspection
Date of most next recent inspection
Quality Grades for this inspection
Quality Grades for second most recent inspection

Please find the requested information in the attached spreadsheet below.
Please note that a number of newly registered services have still to
receive an initial or second inspection. Therefore, in relation to these
services the Care Inspectorate has a duty to formally tell you that under
the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002, Section 17, Notice that
information is not held, we do not hold all the requested dates of
inspections because some services first or second inspection has still to
take place.

Please also note that not all inspections result in a grade being awarded.
Therefore, in relation to such inspections, the Care Inspectorate has a
duty to formally tell you that under the Freedom of Information (Scotland)
Act 2002, Section 17, Notice that information is not held, we do not hold
the grades as none have been awarded.

Furthermore, in relation to the 'hours of service', for a number of
services the Care Inspectorate has a duty to formally tell you that under
the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002, Section 17, Notice that
information is not held, we do not hold the information you have requested
for a small number of services, because the services in question have not
provided the Care Inspectorate with this information.

(See attached file: DCoC services 31 March 16.xls)

Lastly, in relation to your request for other conditions of registration,
this information is published on the Care Inspectorate's website
www.careinspectorate.com therefore, is exempt from release under section 25
(1) of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 (FOI(S)A). This
exemption can be applied if an applicant can reasonably obtain information
other than by requesting it under section 1(1) of FOI(S)A . The exemption
in section 25 is absolute, in that it is not subject to the public interest
test set out in section 2(1)(b) of FOISA. In order to access the conditions
of registration, please select the 'Find Care' tab on our website, which
consequently allows you to search for a particular service.

I trust this satisfies your request, however if you have any queries
regarding the information which has been provided please do not hesitate to
contact me on 01382 207 100 or email [email address].

If you are unhappy with our response then you have a right to a review. If
you wish to instigate a review then you can do this by writing to me at

If you remain dissatisfied with the decision of the Care
Inspectorate - in relation to how we have dealt with your
request for information considered under the FOI(S)A - you have
the right to pursue the matter with the Scottish Information
