Details of Bat Licence issued

John Garner made this Freedom of Information request to Natural England

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

The request was successful.

Dear Natural England,
Hello

BAT LICENCE NO 2017 32420 EPS-MIT BERICOTE

PLANNING APPLICATION ST HELENS 2016/0608

Can you provide copy of the above in order that I may assess any conditions applicable thereto. ?? I have grave doubts as to the valid use of the licence and prior to any police involvement via the Wild Life Crime unit I seek to obtain certainty that the procedures/conditions you imposed, if any, have been adhered to.

I find it surprising that a licence was issued that allowed destruction of the roosts etc during hibernation period with the obvious demise of the animals.

In the absence of a satisfactory response I will of course be obliged to involve the appropriate authorities, though am obviously loathe to take that course of action in the absence of any definitive evidence of wrong doing.

I look forward to your positive response

Regards

JOHN GARNER

Hello again

I have copy/pasted my original request which you dealt with promptly. Although I did specify detail of the applicant etc I was mis-informed of the actual Reg No, It transpires the actual number is 32620 not as stated.
Would you therefore oblige with the correct licence please and accept my apologies for the unnecessary work I have caused you.
Yours sincerely,

John Garner
