Dear FOI Team,
You answer misses the point. I am not asking for the private records of anybody. I am asking for the raw statistical data that allowed you to build up your report. This requires:
- death by day in the year
- sex
- age upon death
- number of days since 1st vaccination dose, when applicable
- number of days since 2nd vaccination dose, when applicable
There is no personal element in any of this. SO I do not foresee that it should cause any problem to provide these data set.
Yours sincerely,

Steven McCloud

Dear FOI Team,

I am still waiting for the ONS to provide me with some basic data. They are refusing on the grounds that I am asking for personal records with names and dob that they are not allowed to disclose. My request is clearly not about getting any personal records about any individual.

What I am asking can be summarised as follows (assuming, for the sake of arguments, that 400,000 people have died in the UK since the 1st of January), I want to have a file with 400,000 anonymous rows with the 5 following columns:
- Date of death (could be given as d/m/y or simply as m/y)
- Sex
- Age upon death (in single years)
- Covid vaccine number of doses (could be 0, 1, 2, 3 or more)
- Number of days between last dose and death, when and if applicable (that is, if number of doses greater than or equal to 1)

Yours sincerely,

Steven McCloud
