The request was successful.

Rupert Moss-Eccardt

Dear 3C Shared Services,

On this web page:
https://www.playfords.co.uk/project/3c-s...
it describes some work done.

Can you please send me the inventory of equipment removed and the destruction certificates?
If the assets still had value can you give the value of the assets removed?
Finally, can you inform me of the procurement process that was followed to procure this particular piece of work?

Yours faithfully,

Rupert Moss-Eccardt

You have chosen not to respond in the time allowed by the Act. I am taking this as a refusal.

Dear Rupert Moss-Eccardt,

Re: Request for Information (RFI: 3920)  (HDC) Destruction certificates
On this web page:
[1]https://www.playfords.co.uk/project/3c-s...
it describes some work done.

Can you please send me the inventory of equipment removed and the
destruction certificates?
If the assets still had value can you give the value of the assets
removed?
Finally, can you inform me of the procurement process that was followed to
procure this particular piece of work?
Thank you for your request for information above, which we have dealt with
under the terms of the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

Please accept my apologies for the significant delay in replying.

I hope the following will answer your query:

The inventory of equipment removed is attached. We have removed the names
of some junior members of staff and a signature under Section 40(2) of the
FOI Act.

Section 40 sets out that personal data can only be released where doing so
does not breach any of the data protection principles.

The General Data Protection Regulation (which has enacted in UK law by the
Data Protection Act 2018) states: “Personal data shall be: (a) processed
lawfully, fairly and in a transparent manner in relation to the data
subject (‘lawfulness, fairness and transparency’).”

Release of the signature and names of junior members of staff who are not
public facing, do not have significant responsibility for budgets or
policies would not be fair. We are therefore not releasing this
information.

Turning to the value of the assets, I can confirm that a lot of the assets
had no value. A lot of the items were, for examples, cables or old
switches that are no longer supported. Anything that was valuable and
could be reused was taken out and placed in the storeroom for future use.
Where we did not own the equipment, please find the following excerpts
from the project logs:

DL10 26-May Redundent comms company equiment e.g. NTL/Redcentric and BT
equipment - what happens to it Sent for recycling
27/6 - Record asset tags that are removed.
27/6 - Network switches should be reset back to Factory Default.
11/7 - No reponse from Redcentric - so we will recycle their kit. Ask same
question to VMB
24/7 - Virgin have confirmed verbally that we can recycle, they don't want
the equipment back.

DL73 03-Aug Request from 3C ICT to sell equipment.  Reviewed this - out of
scope for project. Playfords taking old legacy routing equipment -
anything with Configs is for us to dispose of.

Finally, I can confirm that we used the Council’s standard procurement
process, details of which are available at
[2]http://www.huntingdonshire.gov.uk/busine....

I am aware that you have asked for an internal review on the timeliness of
our response. I once again apologise for the delay and will ensure that
you are responded to separately on this issue by someone else who can
review this case.

We aim to provide a high quality service to you and hope that you are
satisfied with this response. If you have any further questions please do
not hesitate to contact us.

Yours sincerely
