Dear Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service,
I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 with the following request:
Please could tell me how many incidents at commercial properties you have been called to since January 1st 2019 to the present day where the property was deemed unsafe to immediately re-enter following the incident.
In addition, if the cost of doing so would not exceed the limitations set out in Section 12 of the Act, please provide the cause of the incident and the reason for blocking re-entry to the property (i.e. Cause: Fire - Reason: building structurally weakened)
I confirm that your request for information has been received and is being dealt with.
The Authority aims to provide available information promptly and in any event within 20 working days, unless, exceptionally, there is a need to consider whether the information is exempt from disclosure.
We will contact you again soon in connection with your request.
