Dear HM Prison Service,

I would like to, if possible, request information on the Desistance and Disengagement Programme (DDP) mentioned within the 2018 CONTEST Document.

1) As per the document: "Success over the next three years will mean more people are disengaged and rehabilitated from terrorism". Therefore, as two years since the document was released, and 4 years since the program began (2016), could it be believed the DDP is heading towards success?
2) How many offenders are actively taking part in the DDP?
3) How many offenders have successfully completed the programme?
4) How many offenders have not successfully completed the programme?
5) What is the average length of the programme from beginning to completion?
6) As per the CONTEST Document, 107: "an immediate aim over the next 12 months to more than double the number of individuals receiving rehabilitative interventions." Has this been met?

And finally,
7) As per 128 of the CONTEST Document: "the Desistance and Disengagement Programme will aim to more than double its current capacity to accommodate up to 230 individuals over the next 12 months". Has this been achieved? If not, why?

Thank you, I look forward to your response and appreciate your time answering my request.

Kindest Regards,

Millie Whittaker
