Dear ‎Kelly Shaw

Environmental Information Regulations 2004

Thank you for your information request received on 03/03/2021.
This request is being handled under the Environmental Information
Regulations 2004.

You requested the following information:

Who are the design Team that are working on the phase 1 development on st
raphael estate, When did the contract start and when does it end, what are
their fees. How and where was this post advertise, and is
it still open for bids

We have searched our records and some of the information you have
requested is not held by Brent Council because the procurement of the
Design Team for phase 1 is not yet completed so we cannot provide the name
of the organisation who will be working on the design process of the
development. As the contract has not yet been awarded we are unable to
confirm the start and end dates and the value.

Therefore regulation 12(4) (a) applies to your request. Regulation 12(4)
(a) provides an exception to the duty to disclose information when
information is not held. The information, which is held, is provided
below.

The Council are carrying out a mini competition as is required for a
contract of this potential value, using the GLAs‘s Architecture Design and
Urbanism Panel. The council have found that this is the most appropriate
means of procuring the services required and the competition helps to
gauge interest of expressions. The Architecture Design and Urbanism Panel
is a pre-approved panel of built environment consultants. It is setup and
managed by the GLA and TFL. The Panel makes it quicker and easier for
organisations to commission high quality consultants for design projects
by following an effective, rigorous and fair process.
The members who are registered with the ADUP framework have been selected
for their capability and capacity to provide the services under framework.

The Resident Board, St Raphael’s Voice provided input on the specification
for the tender and will be involved in the evaluation of the submissions.

If you are dissatisfied with the handling of your request, you have
the right to ask for an internal review. Internal review requests
should be submitted within two months of the date of receipt of the
response to your original letter and should be addressed to:
