Derbyshire’s Key Cycle Network

A. Sheridan made this Freedom of Information request to Derbyshire County Council

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

The request was successful.

Dear Derbyshire County Council,

In late 2017 Derbyshire County Council consulted on plans to draw up a Key Cycle Network map of existing and proposed cycle routes, which would then allow funding bids to be formed in order to complete proposed routes.

In the time since, no further information nor the Key Cycle Network plan itself has been forthcoming and the public must assume the issue is not being adequately progressed.

Please provide the following in order to reassure the public that a KCN remains a key DCC objective:

- A record of all meeting papers and notes relating to the formation of the KCN following the consultation, including the results of the consultation itself
- A copy of the current working Key Cycle Network map including any proposed route list or further detailed information
- A date by which the KCN will be made public and bids for funding will begin

Yours faithfully,

A. Sheridan
