Derbyshire Emergency Active Travel Fund projects
Dear Derbyshire County Council,
The Council has bid for and successfully received funding allocation under the Government’s Emergency Active Travel Fund. This amounts to £443,000 under tranche 1 of the scheme for short term “pop-up“ initiatives and an indicative allocation of £1,773,000 for longer term projects to enable walking and cycling.
Please provide full details of the Council’s bid including details of the projects expected to be funded by this scheme.

Tranche 1 Funding of the COVID Active Travel Emergency Fund - Work is
still ongoing delivering these interventions and a full list of completed
works will be published on the Council’s website in due course.
Tranche 2 - Business cases have to be submitted to the Department for
Transport by August 7th 2020 where they will be assessed. The outcome of
these assessments will determine how much individual Councils will
receive.

I am writing to request an internal review of Derbyshire County Council's handling of my FOI request 'Derbyshire Emergency Active Travel Fund projects'.
The following was stated in response to this request:
“Tranche 1 Funding of the COVID Active Travel Emergency Fund - Work is
still ongoing delivering these interventions and a full list of completed
works will be published on the Council’s website in due course.
Tranche 2 - Business cases have to be submitted to the Department for
