Derbyshire 2020 Badger Cull

Natural England did not have the information requested.

Dear Natural England,

My enquiry is concerning the number of badgers killed by contractors within the Derbyshire Badger Cull Zone during the 2020 cull. My objective is to establish the impact of the badger cull at a local level within the county of Derbyshire.

1. Please provide me with a breakdown of badgers killed during the above cull by locality. "Local Area" preferably will be a Parish area, if that level of detail is unavailable then please provide me with the local authority area. If nether are available please provide me with the local information that you do hold. Example:

Local area: Tissington
Badgers killed by free shooting : 9999
Badgers killed by cadge trapping: 9999

2. Please provide me with the number of badgers collected for disposal from each of the above culls storage sites along with the approximate location of that site. To clarify, I define a cull storage site as a location where licenced shooters and/or trappers drop off the badgers they have killed during the cull for disposal. Example:

Site number: 1
Local area : Amber Valley
Number of bodies collected: 9999

Yours faithfully,

Tim Day
