Derby city primary school spend on third parties for temporary staffing

The request was successful.

Dear Derby City Council,

I am interested in the amounts paid by each primary school in Derby City Council LEA to third parties in relation to temporary agency staffing cover.

Notes:
1. I would like the information in electronic format. This should
avoid any printing cost issues.
2. In order to avoid your having to collate information from
peripheral systems, I am willing to accept information only from
your main system (I would like you to advise which system this is).
By main system I mean the system that handles the largest part of
the department's expenditure. If supplier payments are
made through separate systems, then I would like you to choose the
main system for each.
3. The information I require for each school is: School Name;
Supplier name and total amount paid.
4. I would like the information to cover the year 2016/17

Yours faithfully,

Nazia Malik

Dear Nazia Malik,

Unfortunately, the Council is unable to identify the information you have
requested from the details in your request.

Please clarify the following, so we can search if we hold the information
requested.

The request states “primary schools” but should we also include infant and
junior schools in the reply as the pupils attending are the same ages even
though they aren’t attending primary schools?

We won’t be able to deal with your request until you provide the
additional information.

The Freedom of Information Act 2000 says that we must comply with your
request for information within 20 working days, from the date following
receipt of your request unless we have to ask for clarification, as in
this case.  The 20 day response deadline clock has stopped from the date
of this email and will start again the next working day after we receive
your response.

Unfortunately, if we don’t hear from you by 8 March, we will send you a
refusal notice as we don’t have all the information we need to process
your request.

Please contact us if you have any queries or concerns …
