Depleted Uranium

The request was refused by Ministry of Defence.

Dear Ministry of Defence,

Can you please advise on the level (weight) of Depleted Uraniun (DU) placed inside the following nuclear weapons:

Grapple 'Y'
Grapple 'Z' Operation Pennant
Grapple 'Z' Operation Flagpole
Grapple 'Z' Operation Halliard
Grapple 'Z' Operation Burgee

Yours faithfully,

Dave Whyte

Dear Ministry of Defence,

It is noted that my request for the level of Depleted Uraniun used is now overdue.

Can you please supply an update on this request

Yours faithfully,

Dave Whyte

Dear Ministry of Defence,

By law, a reply should have been made by the 11 February 2015. I kindly sent you a reminder a week ago and no action appears to have been taken.

I do not intend to wait for over a year to get clarification on this question, as I did for my 'Monitoring' question on the 29th September 2013 (now at the Information Commissioners Office).

Using members of the Armed Forces as 'Human Guinea Pigs' without their consent, can only be described as 'INHUMANE.'

Servicemen take the 'Oath of Allegiance' to Her Majesty the Queen, her Heirs and Successors, to defend our Country from attack. There is no mention of Servicemen automatically giving consent for any Medical Experiments or atrocities to be committed against them.

Yours faithfully,

Dave Whyte

Dear DES SEC-PolSecShips and Subs (MULTIUSER),

Thank you for your perceived letter.

I believe you may be well aware that Depleted Uranium is an addition to the bomb, and not the bomb. Therefore, your suggestion that this information could be used by a 'Third Party' to build a nuclear bomb is laughable. As for assisting in countering a future deterrent one has to ???????????????

Yours sincerely,

Dave Whyte
