Department for Transport - Emergency Active Travel Fund

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Kent County Council should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Kent County Council,

Regarding the Emergency Active Travel Fund recently launched by the Department for Transport, please provide the following documentation:

(i). Copies of all correspondence with KCC and DfT regarding the funding (including what they can use the funds for, how they should apply and who they should consult with before applying).
(ii). Copy of application for funding submitted by KCC to DfT.
(iii). How the KCC allocation of DfT funding has been allocated to Westgate-on-sea Town Council.
(iv). Copies of all correspondence with Westgate-on-Sea Town Council regarding the scheme.

The statutory obligation to provide the information promptly should mean that I receive the information within the next ten days as most working life has resumed after the lock down. Please let me know if there will be a delay.

Yours faithfully,

George Russell
